Iskcon Temple Bangalore:

Sri Radha Krishna Temple (Iskcon Temple) is situated in RajajinagarBangalore, Karnataka, India with gods of Radha and Krishna. Iskcon Bangalore is one of the world’s largest ISKCON temples. The temple is a huge cultural complex that Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma inaugurated in 1997.

About Iskcon Temple Bangalore:

Around 1976, ISKCON the activity was initiated by devotees from different parts of India and the world in different parts of South India like Bangalore, Hubli, Madras, etc. Sankirtans were being carried out in the streets, enrolling Life Members, organizing programs in the buildings, and arranging big government pandal programs. Under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, the society was registered in 1978. Society objects are derived from ISKCON’s Seven Purposes as Srila Prabhupada has stated. In May 1997, India’s fifth president, Shankar Dayal Sharma opened Bangalore ISKCON Temple.

  3. Nitai Gauranga (Nityananda and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
  4. Srinivasa Govinda (also referred to as Venkateswara)

Who built Iskcon Temple?

ISKCON Temple, designed and constructed by Achyut Kanvinde who agreed in 1993 to accept a pro-bono commission to construct this temple complex for Srila Prabhupada’s supporters, is one of India’s biggest temple complexes. It includes countless priestly and service rendering rooms.
